Social Awareness

Gramin Vikash Avam Janjagaran Sewa Samiti focuses on Social Awareness. Many types of awareness programs were conducted to create awareness among the people against the government’s schemes for land, food, employment, wages, health, and education.

From our organization we also try to be aware about various social issues like harassment of women among the people who are scheduled caste and other backward class. We try to solve these problems a meeting by making a conscious meeting and the strategy was prepared by giving a demand letter to the DM and SDM.

Awareness Camps

A number of awareness programs have been organized for the violence / domestic violence on women belonging to scheduled and backward communities, for their rights and to break the silence against harassment, exploitation. Many kinds of meetings and post travel awareness campaigns were also organized to create awareness. 430 regular monthly meetings of 42 Gram Panchayat level organizations were held, in which 943 women, 574 men and a total of 4487 people participated.With regard to the status of women’s equality, rights, and access to resources, proper knowledge was developed in 30 volunteers for public awareness campaign.

Awareness on Health & Nutrition

Gramin Vikash Avam Janjagaran Sewa Samiti create awareness on various schemes under the project of Rashtriya Gramin Swasthya Mission. Anganwadi ladies and Asha workers and Dhatri-mata are getting benefits from various Govt. schemes and from our organization we are trying hard to take all the ladies and pregnant women and adolescents girls and boys under these schemes. We also encourage pregnant women to take nutritious food, iron tablets and also to take pulse polio and other vaccinations. For newborn babies and mothers we also have separate plans and activities.

Right to Education

Gramin Vikash Avam Janjagaran Sewa Samiti focuses on right to education. We provide primary education for 6-14 years boys and girls. It is noticed that the situation has improved by regular teaching. But even today girls didn’t go to school due to lack of awareness. From our Organization, we set up governing body for schools and every members of that body are very much aware about their work. We encourage guardians to send their children to school.

Rural Development

Gramin Vikash Avam Janjagaran Sewa Samiti focuses on Rural Development every year. With this mission, we provide rations to poor and needy people of local areas. We distribute 3.5 kg of wheat, 2 rupees per kg, 1.5 kg of rice 3 rupees per kg etc. 24 families has given cows and 6 families has given pigs and 78 families are insisted to do farming. We encourage people in various social and rural development programs and to get them settled in life our organization is striving hard.

Library

The library and reading room are successfully operated by the institution. The library has books on rights, laws, and a total of 490 books have been collected along with the lives of great men. Due to which hundreds of people are getting benefited every year

Dalit Women Empowerment

Gramin Vikash Avam Janjagaran Sewa Samiti tries to empower the Dalit Women. To bring the rights and respect in the life of the Scheduled Castes, Extremely Backward castes and women the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb was celebrated as Chetna Diwas In 14 gram panchayats of Mohammadabad block. With the consent of all, the people were made aware and united as an organization. All are remembered. Ambedkar Adhikar Manch stressed for the long struggle for their rights. For this we organized regular meetings and seminars.
